Lev Vygotski

Hi! Today i'm going to talk about of a expert that i admire.

Vygotsky is my favorite thinker of the human psychologist development. He was born in Moscow in 1896 and he died in 1934.

He always had humanistic ideas so he studied Philosophy and History on Shanyavsky University but after this his parents wanted him to study Medicine.

Before, in the last period of his life, he studied Medicine, because he wanted to know about the neurological organization of mental superiors functions. In that time, the psychology was in crisis and he wanted to overcome that, so he decided to  investigate about the role of the language on the human behavior and his development on the human life, saying that at first, the words were emotional, after that, they were designations of concrete objects and finally, had abstract meaning.

I think that Vygotsky is very important for thepsychology because he introduced the culture on the study of the psychology.

This signifies a very important change in the psychological theory, because it includes a lot of elements and perspectives.

  4. Good Lucía! As I commented Vygotski is also very renown in learning in general.

    Some comments:

Say, "human psychology development" and "he studied in/at the university"

In the academic field, you "do research", not "investigate"

So to do research on the role of language IN human behavior and ON ITS development in life?
    .
saying that at first, words were emotional, after that, they were designations of concrete objects and finally, THAT THEY had abstract meaning...

Finally, "he introduced culture TO the study of Psychology" and "This MEANS a very important change..." .
